Section 3
Quotes and Orders
Quote Accuracy
Quotes are based on the specifications provided by the Customer. Changes to size, quantity, material, finishing, packaging, shipping, or schedule may change the quoted price.
Order Acceptance
An Order is not final until accepted by the Company. We may require written approval, payment, artwork approval, or additional project information before production begins.
Right to Refuse or Cancel
We may refuse or cancel a Quote or Order when specifications are incomplete, payment is not received, content appears unlawful, production is not feasible, or other reasonable business concerns arise.
Section 4
Artwork and Design Services
Customer-supplied print-ready artwork and separately contracted design services are handled differently.
Customer-Supplied Print-Ready Artwork
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Customers are responsible for supplying complete, accurate, and approved print-ready artwork.
Customer-supplied files may be printed as received. The Company is not responsible for spelling, contact information, dimensions, image resolution, fonts, bleed, cut paths, transparency, overprint settings, or other errors contained in Customer-supplied artwork.
Separately Contracted Design Services
Design services are available only when separately requested, scoped, accepted, and quoted. Design services are not automatically included with a print Order.
When design services are provided, the Customer must review and approve the final proof before production. After approval, the Customer is responsible for the content shown on the approved proof.
Rights to Submitted Content
By submitting artwork, the Customer represents that they have the legal right to reproduce all submitted content, including images, logos, trademarks, and text.
Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property violations associated with Customer-supplied content.
Section 5
Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
Pricing
Prices may change without notice. Final pricing is based on the accepted Quote or Order confirmation.
Payment
Orders must generally be paid in full before production unless different terms are accepted in writing. Charges may appear under Smart Looks LLC.
Taxes and Exemptions
Applicable taxes will be added unless the Customer provides a valid and accepted exemption certificate before invoicing or payment.
Section 6
Production and Turnaround
Production Start
Production timelines begin only after all required artwork, specifications, approvals, and payment have been received.
Estimated Timelines
Turnaround estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. Rush work may require additional charges and written approval.
Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by Customer inaction, weather, carrier failures, equipment issues, supply interruptions, labor disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Section 7
Shipping and Delivery
The Sign Catalog prints, finishes, packages, and ships completed products. We do not generally provide on-site installation.
Shipping Methods
Orders may ship by parcel carrier, courier, freight carrier, or another appropriate method based on size, weight, destination, and project requirements.
Risk of Loss
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, risk of loss passes to the Customer when the shipment is delivered to the carrier.
Damage and Shortage Claims
Customers must inspect shipments promptly and report visible damage, concealed damage, shortages, or missing packages within 48 hours of delivery.
Customer Installation Responsibility
The Customer is responsible for arranging local installation or application unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Section 8
Returns, Refunds, and Claims
Custom Products
Custom printed and fabricated products are made to Customer specifications and are not returnable or refundable unless the Company determines that a production defect occurred.
Claim Requirements
Claims must be submitted within five business days of delivery unless a shorter shipping-damage period applies. We may require photographs, packaging, documentation, samples, or return of the affected materials.
Available Remedy
If an error is determined to have resulted from the Company’s production process, the Company’s sole remedy may be to reprint or replace the affected portion of the Order.
Section 9
Website and Company Intellectual Property
Website content, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, design elements, logos, trademarks, and branding owned or licensed by Smart Looks LLC may not be copied, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
